Five kittens were found abandoned in a battered suitcase by a passer-by in a Cardiff back street. One of the kittens was caught in the suitcase zipper.
"The kittens, who are around nine weeks old, had fleas and dirt in their fur. One of the kittens had a sore right eye but they are in a healthy condition," said RSPCA Cardiff And District Branch.
"The cats have been placed into our care and will be made available for rehoming..."
