Casper and Tigger Adopted Together

After a month of fostering, Casper and Tigger were ready to be up for adoption, but their foster parents were not. These two little ones have crept into Alexandra and her husband’s hearts that they simply can’t part with them. “We fostered Casper & Tigger for a month and when it came time to put them up for adoption we couldn’t give them up. They are part of the family now!” says Alexandra.

The couple will continue their foster effort for the Annex Cat Rescue. In fact their new foster just arrived today :).

It is very hard to given them back. One of my friend was fostering a 6 weeks old cat and went for 3 weeks vacation so I offered to foster. He will be 4 years old in October. And of course we adopted him.

Awww, so sweet! I'm afraid to foster kittens for exactly this reason — I know that I would keep them all. Congrats on the new additions to the cat family!

  17. Anne says:

Oh, I am SO glad! When I first saw their pictures, I was upset to think they may be separated, and they seemed to love each other so much. They are simply beautiful. It looks like they are never more than a couple of inches apart. Please keep us updated on them, they just look so sweet. I was not allowed any pets growing up, so when I left home, the first thing I did was get 2 cats and one was a solid white like Casper. That was over 30 years ago and I have never been without a cat since, all rescues or strays. Thank you so much for keeping these two and keeping them together!

  18. Ayesha says:

It's OK to have foster failures… where you just can't give them up. Thank you for giving them a forever home where they can spend their lives together. May they always bring love to your home.

  21. Momo says:

This is the best kind of failure – a win-win situation. Yay for all!!!

How great is it to go through life with such loving kitties…that they love each other and that you loved them so much you couldn’t part with either of them! You all are MADE to be together for many years to come! Enjoy! And I’m so happy you’re going to continue to foster other kitties, too!

  31. Debra Olsen says:

:-) Wow, that is a fairy tale ending if ever I heard one. Casper & Tigger are such cuddle bugs & so beautiful. Wish all cats everywhere would be treated as well. They ALL deserve it.

  32. Ingrid says:

Thank you for keeping them together :)

  33. Sherry says:

  34. Koala says:

Foster failures :)!!!! That happened to me too – it’s wonderful :):). I once had a cat named Caspar [a glorious tuxedo who made friends w/everyone] and later an orange Tigger who is terrified of everyone. I think if they had been like these two, Tigger would be a social butterfly too.

  35. Janet says:

I love foster failures! They’re the best kind of adopters :) And Casper and Tiger are so cute!

  36. Anita says:

Brought tears to my eyes. Just wish my Casper was that sweet! ;)

  37. JR says:

i can completly understand not wanting to give them up. if I where a foster I could not give any of them up. they are beautiful babies.

  38. Adi says:

    I just died of cuteness!:)<3

  39. Paula says:

I love to see that these guys grew up together. So sweet.

    They are forever home! Bless!

  41. Alexandra says:

Those are my babies!!! I’m the failed foster parent who decided to keep Casper and Tigger. They are now 20 months old and continue to be best buddies and the friendliest kitty cats anywhere ;)
