When Winter Rose and Tink had their noses across from each other for the first time, they found each other a very special friend they’d spend their rest of life with.
Tink dotes on the little white Maine Coon as if she were her own kitten. She gives her bath everyday and nuzzles next to her like a mother would to her kitten.

That is so sweet! Victor broke into the bathroom to meet Nina sooner than we intended, and it was purrs and nose-kisses for them, too. He’s not as nice to her as Tink is to Winter Rose, but there’s no denying love.

They remind me of my two cats Peeper and Boris, who are both now passed away. I rescued Boris, a big gray tom, but he had kennel cough from the Humane Society’s bad conditions, so I had to isolate him in a room for a while. When he finally met Peeper, a small, slim, half-Siamese, he fell in love with her.
Every day for the rest of their lives, he would come to her at some point and bow his head and press it against her chest. She would lick his ear once or twice, and then he was dismissed … her loyal subject.
I’ll never understand why non-cat people think cats are loners? Guess those are the same people that think nothing is wrong with tossing cats out when they tire of them or don’t think it’s wrong to abandon a cat with her babies. And that is why I love animals and tolerate humans.
