That is so cute and much better than what my cat Dexter does. He likes to sit on my head and do the happy toots (aka farts) to get me up.

Funny how they all have their ways of getting you up, mine sits on the night stand and meows, then gets in bed and taps your nose. Too funny!!

2. Seamus likes to lick my face (and she saves a lot of saliva for the occasion)
3. Queen Jack likes to whisper-mew in my ear
This is so much more subtle than mine — they dive-bomb my face from atop the headboard, poke my face with their little feets, and remind me that it’s time for the FOOD!

This scenario looks oh-so-familiar!
my breezy sticks her wet nose in my face and then tries to lick my nostrils. i push her away and THEN she goes into stealth mode. she creeps up very very slowly and then gently – in super slow motion – sneaks her paw out to touch my face. if i don’t react she brings her face next. i don’t think she realizes that you’re not that sneaky when you’ve got your purr motor cranked up! it’s pretty hilarious though

animals are very affectionate and do these things well because it feels good to them too.
My Suri meows & put her paw on my arm or face too! Most of time she wants to see that i get up, she´s not hungry. I love cats!!!!!

It’s the best way to wake up, and when they put their wet nose on your nose, I love it
I think they get lonely, and they think you have slept long enough. After all, cats sleep a lot, but on and off. They may think there is something wrong with you!
My little girl does the paw on the face thing too, she also pulls the covers off me, so cute!
She starts walking all over me at 5am to wake me up, they are such brats, but how can you stay mad at them!
