Four cats found themselves abandoned during a frigid blizzard on December 26th.
The box the kittens were found in
Nathan L. P. found them dumped in a box on Country Road 37, and immediately phoned the Humane Society of Sandusky County for the rescue.
The kittens were put in a “Shop-Vac” box and half covered in snow when found. The agent from the humane society quickly transported them to the shelter and provided very needed warmth, food, and a lot of love.
Kelly Askins from HSSC Shelter gave WNWO updates on the four kitties that they are “staying warm and keeping their bellies full.” All four of them are now ready for their forever loving homes.

People are so evil when comes to animals, all they had to do is take the kittens to a pet shelter. Instead of just tossing them like trash. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Praise the Lord for the miracle that brought their hero Nathan to them despite a raging blizzard. They might not have been found before it was too late!

It is horrible that these innocent cats were dumped like trash and left to die. The human race can be so very ugly. Thankfully there are people who care and that these four cats were rescued.
Just too many stories like these…truly heartbreaking. Thank goodness there are at least some good people in the world who care about those that cannot help themselves!

It’s disgusting that someone could just leave 4 tiny helpless kittens to fend for themselves in the snow. This monster probably wouldn’t hesitate to leave their own offspring somewhere when they’re too much trouble to look after.

Thank god that these babies were saved and thank god for Nathan. It never ceases to disgust and disturb me on how a human being can be so cruel. I hope they find the person who did this. Or, I hope that person finds out about how we all think that he/she is a huge inhuman DICK!

What kind of a life, does someone have, that will do something like this? What a miserable existence they must live. To get four adorable kittens, put them into a box, put the box in a car, all the time hearing the cute little “meows” take the box out of the car, and place it in a spot in the snow and leave. Again, all the time being able to hear the cute little “meows” I know all of these kittens will get a good home. To the man that saved them: You are my HERO! and the kitten’s HERO! Thank You.
